The Vitamix Ascent 2300i Blender offers simple intuitive control when compared to the other Ascent models, for those that don’t need all the electronic bells and whistles. It also offers a decent price saving while only sacrificing
the pre-programmed cycles but none of the legendary Vitamix performance.  In all other respects the Ascent models are the same blender and some will find the intuitive simplicity of variable speed and pulse controls are all they could ever need.
